2012 Mazda MX-5 Sports Car Preview

A Mazda insider has said that the next MX-5 will use a revised twin-backbone frame, used in the RX-8, and build up on the RX-8’s viewpoint to take on a “super front-midship four-cylinder layout”. What this means is that the MX-5 engine will be placed behind the front axle for best weight distribution, and mounting the fuel tank and main exhaust in front of the rear axle, so all the vital components stay within the wheelbase.

2009 Mazda 5 Sport

2009_mazda_5_1.jpgMazda mazda5 Sport is for who need affordable, fuel-efficient family transportation that's easy to maneuver in traffic and a snap to park, the Mazda 5 is a strong choice. As far as competition, the Kia Rondo is the most direct rival to this Mazda. The similarly sized Rondo offers available V6 power and is rated to carry seven passengers. The Kia has a performance advantage, but it lacks the 5's convenient sliding doors. Both small family haulers offer smooth, refined rides and boast inviting cabins with strong build quality.

2008 Mazda 6

Mazda6_2008.jpg

Like most Frankfurt previews, we get to see the car but not much of the details yet, so let’s just feast our eyes on this new second generation Mazda 6 for now and wait until more details surface.

Mazda say the new second generation 2008 Mazda 6 is lighter than it’s predecessor – something that breaks the tradition of newly released cars getting heavier and heavier with every generation. The new Mazda 6 does not share a platform with the Mondeo’s EUCD platform, instead uses a revised version of first generation CD3 platform.

From these photos, you can see three variants are available – a sedan, a liftback and a station wagon.
